How does the 14-day free trial work?
When you sign up for the Solo Practitioner Plan, you receive a 14-day free trial. This gives you full access to all features, including ambient recording and coding suggestions. You can test the software in your clinic to ensure it meets your needs. If you decide not to continue, you can cancel your trial within the 14 days and you will not be charged.
How is GST handled for New Zealand customers?
Our prices are displayed exclusive of GST. Because the service is provided remotely from offshore by Be Smart Global, LLC (USA), the treatment of GST is managed in accordance with the New Zealand Inland Revenue Department (IRD) rules for remote services. If your clinic is GST registered, you should enter your GST registration number during checkout to ensure correct tax treatment and invoicing.
Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
Yes. The Solo Practitioner Plan is billed on a month-to-month basis. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account portal. Once cancelled, your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle, and you will not be billed again.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express, processed securely via Stripe. We do not accept direct bank transfers (POLi or bill payments) for individual Solo plans, but we can configure custom invoicing for PHO and hospital groups on Enterprise plans.
Are my invoices eligible for tax deductions?
Yes. DocReport is a business-related software subscription used for clinical documentation. Invoices are issued in NZD and contain all the information required by your accountant to claim the expense as a tax deduction.
What happens to my data if I cancel my subscription?
Because we use a zero-trust architecture, we do not store patient files, audio files, or consultation transcripts on our servers. Your generated notes are copied and stored within your Practice Management System (such as Medtech or Indici). If you cancel your subscription, your account information will be deactivated, but your historical patient records remain securely inside your local PMS.
